Kate Hudson showed some skin Monday night at the Met Costume Institute Gala in an elegant nude gown with a thigh-high slit. She hit the red carpet with friends Liv Tyler and Stella McCartney.

She was nominated for as Oscar (best supporting actress) for Almost Famous and won the Golden Globe for that performance. She was also nominated for a SAG for Nine ... that's hardly a "B" actress.
