The concept of Demon Sheep ages well.
Months after GOP California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina made her primary opponent Tom Campbell famous by marking him with the devilish moniker, the California Democratic Party and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee have turned the tables on the former Hewlett Packard CEO. Call it a reverse demon sheep.
The party put out a mock movie preview titled "Demon Sheep II: The Fleecing of California" casting Fiorina as a sheepish diva who's destroyed companies while getting wealthy. The movie also attempts to make the point that Fiorina would bring a greater fiscal calamity to the state than the Republican primary challengers she's tarring as fiscally irresponsible.
"Carly has been very, very B-A-A-A-A-A-A-D," the preview goes.
The California Democratic Party actually pitches the movie as the second part of "The Demon Sheep Trilogy - A Trio of Mutton." So it's not beyond reasonable expectations that they will actually release the third video they promise: "Extreme Sheep II: The Teaparty's Over," starring the uber-conservative in the race: Chuck DeVore.
The whole thing is worth a watch, if not for its sheer stupidity and comedy than for the impressive effort that went into production.
