See, I thought "Fur" was supposed to be about Arbus. I was very disappointed.
I hate Robert Downey Jr.
He seems to think that playing a roll is only about calling attention to himself in every frame...........boring. It seems to be working for him though, just not for me.
I find him only slightly more tolerable than Jim Carey.

Fur?!? In 2006?!? That seems soooo '80's...

Never mind...I was shooting too fast from the fingertips. The full titles of the movie is Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus.

Less than Zero and Tropic Thunder. In Less than Zero, no one remembers Andrew McCarthy or Jamie gertz, it was all about RDJ. In Tropic Thunder, everyone was buzzing about how his role may be offensive to blacks, but it turned out to be a revelation.

RDJ as Tony Stark has proved to be a perfect fit, I couldn't imagine anyone else to play that role.

The worst movie he ever made was In Dreams, probably right around the time that he broke into that person's house and was found in their bed, naked.

So many great ones are missing from the list, especially when he was just a character actor. I was and always will be a huge fan, so thrilled he cleaned up his life and was able to continue acting, well.

One movie I would add is Soapdish, totally hysterical.

weird science and back to school are his best works

Chaplin needs to be in there for me to post an honest ranking. Glad to see "Less Than Zero." A good movie doesn't necessarily have to include an HEA. Chaplin, GN & GL, Less Than Zero, IM and Tropic Thunder is how I am leaning right now... the order may get juggled...

YES! How could they not have Chaplin????

Oh!!! Almost forgot about the time I was in the flea market and stopped to glance at a copy of one of his OLD ones, 'round 1992 maybe, about a college student who becomes a video-journalist or something. Haven't seen it, forget the name, but it looks pretty good. The cover of the movie had a tagline that said, "If you don't get into politics, politics will get into you."
Come on, HuffPo, you silly news website! Of all the flicks you could have kept off this list...you forgot THAT one?!

He was definitely the man for "Sherlock Holmes." I really enjoyed it.
Only went to see the "Iron Man" flicks because my lova wanted to see them. They were OK. I, however, went to see Tony Stark, and for that reason only. :)
"Tropic Thunder" was and always will be his best. He was brilliant...hysterical, and somehow without making a fool of himself and offending too many.
Still need to see "Less Than Zero." I've heard it was such a trip, and even could have been pretty much a documentary of his life. I am glad that he got those nasty drugs out of his system, though. He's healthier looking, and making quite the comeback. He looks good, healthy, and stable. He's definitely wearing the "40 is the new 20" demeanor quite well. A great actor.
But on SNL, Chris Kattan's part as Robert Downey Jr. in the slammer on MTV Cribs was hilarious.
"...There's the bed...there's the toilet...there you go."

"Chaplin" was really good, surprised to not see it included in the list. My vote for best in recent flicks was "Tropic Thunder" or "Sherlock Holmes".

His worst, for me, will always be "Less Than Zero", just because I found that film to be totally reprehensible. Hated every single frame of that movie.

i vote for "Chaplin". The one he recieved an Acdemy Award nomination which is some how not on the list? Downey was brilliant. He startled Geraldine Chapin with his uncanny resembellence and mannerisms of her father. Poor form HuffPo.
