Faisal Shahzad
Do we really need to explain this one? Not only did the man try to set off a car bomb in Times Square, but his bungling attempt included using harmless fireworks, the wrong type of fertilizer for bomb-making, and locking his house keys in the car.

Mayor Bloomberg
Bloomberg released his Executive Budget this week, and it wasn't pretty. Among the disturbing cuts are jobs for thousands of teachers, and the shuttering of 20 fire companies and 50 senior centers.

Steve Levy
The longtime Democrat thought switching over to the GOP would be a walk in the park, but it's becoming increasingly clear that he may have been better staying on the other side of the aisle. In a further blow to Levy's struggling campaign, the chairman of the Republican Governors Association said they do not intend to spend money on the New York governor's race unless they felt the candidate had a real shot. Ouch!

Lawrence Taylor
The football great was accused of raping a 16-year-old runaway girl in a motel room. There may be no coming back for him this time.
