WKOW in Madison, Wis., reports on an act of generosity on a day when mothers are supposed to receive gifts, not give them away. This Mother's Day, however, 75-year-old Louise Hunter (who has given birth to 21 children) gave presents to families who have very little at the Love and Charity Homeless Shelter, which she founded, in nearby Racine.
Hunter said, "I feel like it's not all about going out and having dinner and enjoying ourselves and I'm just talking about me, it makes me feel better when I can reach out to others."
Hunter has 61 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren.
