I had post traumatic stress for years and couldn’t heal until I taught myself how to connect my mind and body with my emotions and dreams. I became a psychotherapist and yoga teacher to explore ways to heal. In a brief meditation I saw how I could create an illustrated guide how to encounter and transform powerful emotions in the body. I created a series of lessons that can guide therapists, yoga therapists, yoga practitioners and individuals through the anatomy of emotional healing. I’ve created a work of art that teaches a profound mind-body connection and empowers people to heal. http://theanatomyofhealing.com

Body Awareness has been and continues to be at the center of all the healing I do, from whatever circumstance or physical challenge.

I meditate when I work out, I go to the gym and and do a fast walk on the track for an hour, and try to think of "one thing", and when my mind strays I pull it back to that "one thing" That one thing is usually something simple like, why is Judy mad at me? or whats up with my sister?. The act of working out takes up energy and slows down the thinking process, and burns off any stress hormones that are in my body. And after an hour I usually have an answer for my "one thing" that was bothering me.
