Serial killer David Berkowitz has been denied parole.
The Son of Sam murderer is currently serving six life sentences in an upstate prison after going on a terror spree from 1976 to 1977 in which he killed six people and wounded seven.
Reports the Daily News,
"Your actions exhibited a total disregard for not only the law but the lives of innocent members of society," the state Parole Board said in a decision last Tuesday.
"Not only did you harm the victims and their families, but the N.Y.C. community as a whole," the Parole Board statement read.
Berkowitz automatically comes up for parole every two years, and this is the fifth time he has been denied release.
