Another European country moves back toward the right (though in this case somewhat hesitantly.) It'll be interesting to see how the English government works over the next year or so. It'll take a statesman of some skill to get consensus and accomplish anything, it looks like. We'll see if Cameron is that sort of politician.

Part of me hopes that the GOP in this country is right about them taking back power in 2012. They totally screwed up the country but through lies and deceit they have tricked so many people into thinking they are the solution to the problems they created.

Nothing would make me happier than to see the dolts who would actually elect them back into office made to look like idiots when the economy doesn't magically fix itself if/when the GOP gets control again.

They have convinced people that the economy would be fixed if they were in charge... When in actuality the economy wouldn't have broke if they hadn't been in charge.

I don't actually wish for this because I don't want the country to be hurt any more than it already has. The GOP doesn't seem to understand that there isn't a crazy anti-Democrat sentiment around the country it is an anti-INCUMBENT sentiment that is targeting them too... There are just fewer of them.

Gordon who?

I only remember Bush's poodle Tony Blair and I can understand why the Brits would want to get rid of him.
