Sara Rue Debuts 40-Lb Weight Loss (PHOTOS)

'Eastwick' actress Sara Rue announced she would be the new Jenny Craig spokesperson in December, and since then she has lost 40 pounds.

"It's pretty cool to know that however I want my body to look, I can have that," she told People last week.

Here's Sara in August (left) and on Tuesday shopping for a wedding dress (she's engaged to teacher Kevin Price).

Valerie Bertinelli also lost 40 pounds on the program. Valerie and Sara plan to run a half marathon together from Napa to Sonoma in July.

Hmm, am I the only one who thought she was pretty before she lost the weight? It's kind of like Christina Hendricks, she doesn't need to be 'thin' or 'skinny.' These women are pretty the way they were made.

Sara looks very nice now, I just hope it was a healthy weight loss.

She looks great....very pretty girl.
I actually think she looks thinner here in these pics than she does on the commercial.
I'm a little skeptical about the 40lbs, being that I have lost that amount and it's a huge difference.
(think: 2nd or 3rd grader)
More power to her - I hope she can keep it up.

Sorry but I do not believe that she has lost 40 pounds, unless she is well over 6 feet tall. 40 lbs take lot more space. She looks like she lost about 5 lbs.
Glad for her and her new gig. One of my favorite actors and one we don't see enough off.

I know from experience that it cost over 120.00 a week to do jenny Craig for that amount you better loose weight . so figure it out almost 700.00 a month need I say more .No i didn't continue I couldn't afford it, all celebrities can afford it that is why they are spoke persons for JC

I agree with you. It works and the food is SOO much better than Nutrisystem's, but the cost is outrageous. For regular working folks, it's simply too much for the amount of time you would need to be on it. However, someday, when my prince comes along and I'm a kept woman, I plan to make a return to goold old Jenny.
