With temperatures in the 50s, it was a rough night to open an outdoor space, but that didn't stop Valentino and the Lincoln Center Institute from christening a new season at the Park at the Hudson Hotel in Midtown New York Monday.
Young actresses Mamie Gummer and Zoe Kazan along with reality starlet Whitney Port huddled under heat lamps in their Valentino to help raise money for the educational arm of Lincoln Center. Lindsay Lohan, also wearing Valentino, showed up near the end of the event with stylist Logan Horne. The Lincoln Center Institute promotes arts education in schools by teaching educators how to infuse dance, music, theater, architecture, and the visual arts into their curriculum in an effort to open up children's imaginations.
Also on hand to hear DJ Chelsea Leyland and the Wallace Roney Quintet jazz band were the Valentino-clad Byrdie Bell, Harley Viera Newton, Gigi Stone, Lily Rabe, Serena Merriman, Lauren Goodman, Sabine Heller, Frances Tulk-Hart, Karen Duffy, Chessy Wilson, Kate Schelter, Carlos Souza, and Luigi Tadini, as well as Lorenzo Martone, Heidi Lindgren, Fernanda Motta, Claude Marais, and Brian Wolk.
