Alright, news anchor. Let's settle down. We know you've been dying to use that word on TV for quite a while, but you don't have to just throw it in so haphazardly. Hold onto it, pick your spots. Learn the art of subtlety. You may have accomplished your own personal dream, but it just made all of your coworkers uncomfortable. (via Guyism)

Was it poorly worded lame anchor banter, or snark?

I've seen alot of comments about how religion, prudishness, , etc... plays in. I've also seen comments debating the appropriateness / inappropriateness of certain words, etc.. But, I think that the rife misandry in America plays a significant part in this. The anti-male indoctrination teaches that women's sexuality is "liberating" and "empowering" and male sexuality is "threatening" and "dangerous". This whole thing is a joke. They talked about vagina for 3 minutes and then have the stupidty/sexism/audacity to act offended when a man says the word penis. The reaction of "some" of the females to this says alot more about their own sexism, narcissim, and histrionic reactions than it does about the male news anchor.

Gawd.

Just keep ******* that chicken.

How many slip ups have we had like this in the last two years? I'm a fan of free speech and all, but these folks must be getting fired for this and their stations fined to the point of pain by the FCC.

I am sure I heard him trip over it. And if you are to have an incident with your penis, well, tripping over it is kind of meritorious.

All that girly talk no doubt got to him. Had to throw in something manly, and what's more manly than that?

He must've been quite irritated with the inane, giggling diatribe of his co anchors.
