Phil Pagano, Metra Director Who Jumped In Front Of Train, Improperly Took At Least $475,000

Late Metra executive director Phil Pagano, who killed himself last Friday, had taken at least $475,000 in unauthorized payments, at times forging the agency chairwoman's signature to get the money, a Metra report says.

The Metra board heard the results of the investigation against the longtime commuter rail chief at a meeting today.
