55-Year-Olds Now Eligible For Senior Housing At CHA

The Chicago Housing Authority board today approved lowering the age for residents who want to live in its senior housing.

The new age requirement for CHA senior housing is 55. But this policy change is only for properties that have a 90 percent or lower occupancy rate. The typical age requirement is 62.
