'SNL' Movies: The Best And Worst Of The Bunch (PHOTOS)

With "Macgruber" hitting theaters tomorrow, we decided to take a stroll down memory lane with the past 10 films based on "Saturday Night Live" sketches. Unfortunately, most of the "SNL" movies were considered flops (we bet you forgot "It's Pat!" even existed) but many people came out to see them anyway because of the familiar characters. They can't all be "Blues Brothers" or "Wayne's World," but when these movies were bad, they were very, very bad. Will Macgruber be able to use household objects to save the battered "SNL" movie franchise? We'll just have to see it to find out.

This was the first "SNL" movie and, unfortunately, the only one to feature John Belushi. He and Dan Akroyd shine in their musical performances as two brothers "on a mission from God," AKA staging a huge gig to raise money and save their childhood home. It's like a road trip movie, band movie, and comedy movie all rolled into one.
