Christians are less likely to kill you over such a thing. Not excusing it, just the reality.

You get what you sign up for. Every app sells your data.

Facebook also deleted a group called "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" under threat. The group had over 100k members and 15k drawings when deleted. The whole purpose of the group was to stand up for free speech rights against this continued threat of violence from these muslim religious terrorists.

Is there some reason that you have to use your real name when you sign up?

Use a nickname that your friends know and also confuse the shit out of them by changing your gender, zip code, age, occupation etc.

I even post my social security number in my facebook posts...gee, I'm really bad at remembering numbers...

Use the system against it. Huffpo is the most decent site on the internet and the only one that I respect. No, I will not sign up with Facebook to get another badge......

You don't say! Who would've suspected internet businesses with whacky business models and tons of personal info to be using it for profit?

Everybody is afraid of government spying and gathering information, but the real danger is from business which has no scruples about buying and selling information in order to reap a profit. We need government to rein in corporations and their business practices. Either that, or hang up on all this demand to be connected all the time to everyone on the planet. That probably won't happen, but if you complain about public exposure check your own privacy settings before blaming someone else for passing around that picture of you passed out at a frat party twenty years ago.
