I lost if for Idol after they cut Paula loose. I don't like Kara. She gets on my nerves with the way she critiques and snaps her neck around. 'Necktitude.' She tries to be so cool and hip and it's just annoying. Yes, Paula was zany, and could be incoherent, but she was fun and frankly, her critiques were good and really helped the contestants in the way she delivered it. They made a mistake about Paula. They should just own up to that.

Can Simon take Ellen with him her gushing all season about Lee was ridiculous, and none of the judges ever told him when he was singing off-key (which was often). They were so busy trying to get their Crystal-Lee finale they were willing to overlook his insecurity, pitch, and wax paper personality. I wouldn't care if they brought William Hung on to be a judge.

It'll only be a tribute and TV-worthy as well if Paula mumbles incoherently and Simon looks appropriately uncomfortable in response. That's the Idol we remember and which Simon and Paula should send us out on. "That's Entertainment."

Paula had a lot to do with Idol's success.

Dancing with the Stars should hire her for next year's show. Think she has credibility as a dance judge and all the people that enjoyed watching her on Idol will tune in to see her on DWtS.

I heard she was already approached by DWTS but turned them down. I think she's going to be a judge on Simon's X Factor next year ... in fact, I would bet money on it.

1) Frank Sinatra Night was Like Being Stuck on an Elevator.

A mentor is someone who has been around and is seasoned regardless of what the field is ... Adam is a newbie (one album) and should not be mentoring anyone.
