A set of photographs of Kate Moss crouched into a ball while nude failed to sell at a Christie's auction, Amateur Photographer reports. The blown-up contact sheet of pics taken by Albert Watson in Marrakech in 1993 was expected to sell for $43,000, however, none of the attendees' bids reached the reserve price. A print from the same set sold for $78,000 in 1997.

Christie's international head of photograph sales Philippe Garner told Bloomberg before the auction that the images appeal "far beyond the specialist world of photography. Kate Moss is one of the lasting emblems of this age's ideal of beauty."

kate moss is gross! i like real woman. you know ones with curves like kim kardashian. I hate that photographers photoshop the hell out of woman to make them look fake. sends the wrong message to little girls and is the reason my girlfriends in life have always asked the question... do i look fat in this.

As I said last week when these pictures came out, you can go to the newstand and buy mags for less that 5 bucks with nude shots of Kate Moss. W mag. had a whole layout a couple of months.
