High government offices are becoming a millionaires' club. The average joe cannot even begin to afford to run a campaign.

Not only are the wealthy the most powerful people in the country, they are becoming the most obviously powerful people in the country.

We are seriously scr*wed.

But Meg is the woman who did more for the porn business than Jack Wrangler! Do we really need a hateful anti-Mexican governor? NO, we do not! Down with Meg!

This is vulgar and insane. Thinking Californians should see thru this BS very easily.

Jerry will be taking control once more, thank dog.

Also Prop 16 is paid for by PG&E. Go figure.

Let's hope they spend themselves into oblivion. Jerry's not spending any money now. He's running unopposed in the primary, and he'll start campaigning after that.

Wow!

Republican party claims to be the party of the "average" American, yet they field a bunch of super rich, upper-upper-class candidates who can afford to funnel millions of their own money into their campaigns. Not to mention all those anti-middle class policies aimed at funneling the country's wealth to the top 5%. And those other policies that dismantle the constitutional protections of racial, gender, and sexual minorities. And all those policies that support the criminal occupation of other countries. Hypocrisy? I think so...

More Accurate: The Republican Party. Party of the Top 5% of Americans who hate non WASP Men and foreigners.

These two make me sick, but above all, Meg Whitman. What they're doing should be illegal.

Go ahead. Flaunt it. Blow a vulgar amount of money being 8th graders.

Jerry gets his office back for the price of a Double Double from In-N-Out.

You should see what PG&E (California's main energy provider) is doing. They're funding their own measure on the ballot that will make local governments, who want to provide electric service to their communities, have their electorate vote on proposed creation or expansion of city electricity services -- and it requires a supermajority vote for the city to proceed.

In every city that I am aware of, the city provides electricity at a much, much lower rate than PG&E.

No city can fight it because California's laws prevent government agencies from campaigning (for or against).

Between them they have spent 65 million dollars a sum that would go a long way in relieving California's debt. Maybe they should have skipped the ads and just donated the money to the state.

THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF PROP 14 PASSES. THE TOP TWO RICHEST PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS MAKE IT TO THE ELECTION. IT IS A GOOD IDEA, BUT FOR IT TO WORK, THERE NEEDS TO BE A CAP ON THE AMOUNT SPENT.
