The upside of this separation means that nobody will ever have to see these two suck face in public again, which was more feigned and painful to watch than Michael Jackson pretending that Lisa Marie was Macaulay Culkin at the 1994 MTV Music Awards. But the fact that the Clintons now have the better marriage will certainly haunt this nation for decades to come.

The fact of the matter is that we have a high divorce rate in America because men are suppressed and not allowed to be men. The natural tendency of a man is to have more than one woman. If a married man is allowed to exercise this natural inclination to have a discrete affair on the side without being persecuted by society and hypocritical media, marriages would last longer. The man relieves stress with his mistress and comes home happy, and even appreciates his wife more. There is no talk of divorce because it is not a choice between his wife and the mistress. He can have both. The only rule is to be very discrete about such extra-marital affairs.

In societies where men are not suppressed and are allowed to be men we do not have a high rate of divorce. I know I'm going to be beaten up about these comments but every man knows, deep inside, that I am correct. I am particularly sad about Al and Tipper Gore.

Merlin1935,
"If a married man is allowed...to have a discreet affair on the side..., marriages would last longer." This smacks of sexist bigotry to me. You should have stated, "if a married man or woman is allowed...to have a discreet affair on the side (if he or she wishes)...the man or woman relieves stress with his or her lover and comes home happy." One of the reasons for the high divorce rate is precisely this type of double standard. I bet you also believe that only the men should work and women should stay at home. Note: I think you meant "discreet," not discrete."

Yes, I believe real men go to work and support their women.
