Israel Turns To YouTube, Twitter After Flotilla Fiasco

The Israeli government is hoping YouTube and Twitter can help restore its reputation after a botched raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla killed nine people. Don't get your hopes up, Bibi. There's only so much a technological tactic can do after such a big strategic blunder. Besides, the folks on those ships had camera phones, too.

Why this is not on the front page? Because it does not fit the case for Isreal bashing? We all know Mavi Marmara is not peace activists / humanitarian ship. If it was they could have ported to the harbor near Gaza or in Egypt. NO!!! they wanted to break the blockade and they WANTED violence.
And all teh international media including HuffPost will only tell all the stories to bash isreal. None on the REAL truth.

Too bad it wasn't Netanyaju that got tossed. I'm so sick of this constant barrage of victimhood. That one thinking error has justified more crimes in the minds of more criminals in history. Can you imagine a nation with over 200 nuclear weapons and one of the fiercest military forces in the world, who maintains the largest concentration camp in the world with an illegal blockade so brutal that millions of impoverished Palestinians are now solely dependent on humanitarian aid, their businesses having been destroyed -- a brutal national of self-righteous perpetrators whining about getting tossed overboard or hit on the head with a pipe? What did they expect, Mogan-David Whine and bagels with tear-drop flavored cream cheeze? Please, Mr. Netanyahu, where is your sense of proportion? Where is your sense of justice? Where did you hide a whole nation's integrity? You have become the indecent and malevolent terror in the night from which you ran to take land from others. And now you play the victim. I believe that Isreal acted in accordance with what America would have done if terrorists were off the coast of our shores. The people of Gaza need to throw out the trash (Hamas) and come to the peace table with true intent to make peace. The Isrealis have endured far more than America or it's Citizens would, if bombs were being lobbed everyday into one of our cities and killing Americans everyday. The people in Gaza are to blame for their actions. the border must remain closed and the blockade must continue to keep the people of Isreal safe. Ask yourself this question, What would I do if someone killed a member of my family, my friend, my neighbor or someone in my community on an every day basis? Well, you now know how the people and the government of Isreal who they elected and came to represent them lawfully, and not by force, Please continue to do what you have to do Isreal to keep your people safe and your land free of terrorists. America stands with Isreal. Never Again.

A little hypo to show you all why your so nuts....You own a boat and are bringing back some nice fruit from Latin America. But the Coast Guard has gotten a tip that your boat is carrying cocaine. You know you have nothing to hide. They come and stop you 20-25 miles of shore, in what is technically international waters (they start 11 miles out for most things)....when the US Coast Guard boards your ship do you A. Start attacking them, or B. Surrender and let them look at the fruit? And if there were 7-10 of you for every one of them, and you started hitting them do you really not think they would start with tear gas and rubber bullets. And then if some of the US soldiers started being stabbed do you really think the Coast Guard would not fire on the person doing that? OF COURSE THEY WOULD. The reality is you wouldn't attack the US Coast Guard boarding your ship, and if those had been US troops doing this exact same thing, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Everyone would be going, OMG they jumped our troops right away. Its ridiculous.

The Israelis have been recruiting just this sort of thing for some time.

I didn't see the links from posters, but I did see the You Tube clip posted by the Huffington Post.

But you do raise an interesting point. One of my main beefs with the Huff Po is that they do not require posters to reveal what area of the world they are posting from. I've noticed Huff Po being "freeped" by people from other countries whenever anything controversial happens. Some of them sound like paid stooges.

Israel is the victim here. They would have only boarded and commandeered the ships & supplies if the people under assault had behaved like they were sheep. Normally everyone cooperates with pirates.
