He's back! Jon Stewart and "The Daily Show" returned last night after a two week hiatus. Not much has changed either, as the main story was still the BP oil spill and the lack of progress made in containing it.
And that incompetence was perfect fodder for Stewart, as he recapped the ridiculousness of all the failed attempts, flabbergasted that laser-guided diamond saw robots are just now being proposed.
Surprisingly, Stewart also took some shots at Obama for his lackadaisical response, pointing out his repeated diversions and apparent lack of focus. That out of the way, he returned for more BP mocking, taking note of their atrocious, violation-filled past. Oh, and there are some great Marv Albert jokes in there, too. Can't go wrong with that.
