Donny Deutsch made his return to MSNBC air Thursday morning after six weeks on the sidelines.

Deutsch appeared on "Morning Joe," his first appearance since angering network executives by including Keith Olbermann in a montage of "angry" media personalities.

Deutsch said he had no hard feelings over the incident, but hadn't been on MSNBC air since April 20 — until Thursday morning.

Now he will co-host the 8AM hour of "Morning Joe" all next week, according to a Mediaite report.

On the program Thursday, Deutsch argued that President Obama needs to emote more over the BP oil spill.

Would someone tell Mr. Deutsch it's time to grow up and put on some big boy clothes?

Seriously, the guy dresses like my 4 year old nephew.

The only time Morning Joe is worth watching is when Joe is on vacation.

I did not vote for an actor. I voted for a president who would keep his head in crises, both those that were left to him by GWB and new ones that have arisen and will continue to arise. I recall GWB saying to a reporter "You know, I'm a very feeling guy." Really? Where were his feelings during Katrina? During the deployment of thousands of our young people going off to their deaths? Where were his feelings as his administration quashed TV coverage of returning body-bags and the subsequent funerals? He stopped playing golf for a few weeks to honor the soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. He stopped playing golf?! Really?

President Obama once made a trip to honor and salute the casket of a soldier as it was lifted off the plane. Some can call that a photo-op, but he did not make a big deal out of it. It was a very moving thing to see, and if that is not "emoting" enough . . . well, I guess what Deautsch wants is a Ham-in-Chief, not a Commander. Deautsch lost all my respect when I heard him last week saying what he said. I won't listen to him again.

obama's wars continue to kill our soldiers. How many videos or pics of coffins have you
seen since Obama's photo op. Bush gave up golf for the rest of his term.

Obama continues to golf more than any President. Has more parties, celebrity concerts and guest chefs than any other President. He's taken more vacations in his short tenure than most presidents have taken in full terms.

The only thing Obama "feels" about is his privilege.

"emote more over the BP spill"... is that the best you can do. I am so sick of the silly comments.

I would rather have an President with a "professorial" personality... at least I know he is pouring all his energy into resolving a problem - than an "emotional" dramatic President flailing about a situation over which there is no immediate solution.

BTW if President Obama would be too emotional, then they would scream that he was out of his depth to handle crises and not fit to be president!

Well, I guess if Bush can get a second term, so can this dbag.

When you've got four hours of air-time to fill five mornings a week you've got to do something.

I have never heard of Donny Deutsch but if he is making fun of that hack and failed sportscaster failed faux news dude Olbermann and that worst President in U.S. history Barack Hussein Obama, I say give this dude more airtime.

Well said. Just like an inferior, good-for-nothing irrelevant who never accomplished anything worthwhile in their entire laughable existence. How much did Rush pay you for that drivel?

Eugene Robinson seems like a nice enough guy but he has absolutly no new insights into any of the days current news. When he comes on I'm pretty safe to flip it over to CNN for a few minutes.

The Pulitzer Prize Committee would disagree with you and so would I, in that I find Mr. Robinson's sane, serious commentary, free of contrived controversy for controversy's sake analysis a welcome change to the bomb-throwing style of many ideologues, but I say each to his own.
