With all the problems she is facing, having a child for her to free her mind with, will be good for her. Congrats with the baby, John! Reactions. http://2su.de/U4b

I can't imagine losing a child, especially at a time that you are watching them spread their wings. Good for them to find a way to keep living and to invite another soul into their family.
Shame on you haters. There's so many kinds of relationships and love out there, it's people like you who make others afraid to be their true selves.
You'd think when someone loses their child people would ease off. Sadly, no.

They are such a grounded family and do so much for so many. They have often indicated an interest in expanding their family and I am truly happy for them. No child can ever be replaced, but when you see the joy in one you remember the joy in the other. It's all miraculous. I congratulate them and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Gay men regularly father offspring. It's no miracle; it's a wonder of modern fertility science.

It's a miracle that two smart people have allowed themselves to be hoodwinked by Sciencefictiontology.

Yes, the "miracle" of IVF. *rolls eyes* I see it every day in San Francisco. It's like the land that time forgot around here.

Everyday? Do you work at UCSF or something? I live in SF and I don't see women walking around in "I Love IVF" t-shirts.

Babies made in a lab by very rich people are not miracles! I hope they have a healthy child that brings them happiness but c'mon!

Yeah, a gay man and an elderly woman had a child, I'd say that qualifies as a Scientology Miracle.

Could you explain your comment, please?
09:31 AM on 06/03/2010
I'm just annoyed that people like John Travolta are notoriously gay, like everybody in Hollywood knows it, and yet he has to keep up this charade for middle America I guess. And I do think Scientology is part of that - they like to have celebrities stumping for their product, but not gay celebrities.

I mean I understand that it's tough being an openly gay actor because Hollywood is so hypocritical about that (and everything else), but it's not going to stop being hard until gay actors admit they're gay. It's not 1940 anymore.
