Sandra Bullock Makes Surprise Appearance In Black Leather Dress (PHOTOS)

CULVER CITY, Calif. - Spike TV says Sandra Bullock has made a surprise appearance at its "Guys Choice" event in Culver City.

Spike says Bullock received a standing ovation from the audience Saturday night at Sony Pictures Studios when she accepted the "Troops Choice" Award for Entertainer of The Year, from presenter Robert Downey, Jr. The award was voted on by members of the military.

The 45-year-old actress has kept a low profile since her public split from husband Jesse James after she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in "The Blind Side" earlier this year.

Bullock is also set to appear Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards where she is to receive the Generation Award.

Spike's "Guys Choice" will air on June 20.

I don't understand the sympathy for Sandra Bullock. She knew she was getting a "bad boy" and she got a "bad boy". She has no one to blame but herself. At least she is acting somewhat like an adult and is a class act in public. But the fact remains, what do you expect when you go after and get a "bad boy"?

Oh, please - you're blaming a wife for her husband's bad behavior? She had every right to expect fidelity from her husband. He chose to commit to her, and he chose to disregard his commitment, to her detriment. If he wanted to be "the bad boy," he shouldn't have decided to commit to one woman.

Jesse James is just a red-neck, inbred Hill-billy who got a lucky break for having a body-shop and potential for the right image with a good manager. The whole 'bad-boy" image was created by his publicist. You see Arizona, in Hollywood, people have their images created by professionals. Do you think Marlan Brando actually ran a mafia family? Of course not!
You are wrong, no woman deserves or wants a man to take wedding vows then continue to chase other women.

Read the article. The award is not about being a war hero. The award was voted on by members of the military. If you have a problem with it, talk to the troops who voted for her.
