Pro-Israel Crowd Rally In Front Of LA Consulate

The LA Times reports on Pro-Israel demonstrations held in Los Angeles over the weekend:

Supporters of Israel rallied in front of the country's consulate in Los Angeles on Sunday as the Jewish state continued to defend itself against an international outcry over a deadly raid on a pro-Palestinian aid flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip last week.

"Today we call all the world to wake up," said Israeli Consul General Jacob Dayan, who addressed the cheering crowd while wrapped in his national flag. "Those who led the flotilla were not peace activists. Those who tried to murder our soldiers were not freedom fighters."

Protesters said Israel has been unfairly criticized for enforcing a blockade that is necessary to prevent weapons from reaching Hamas, the militant Palestinian group that controls Gaza and refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist.

How could anyone who has a sense of compassion believe the Israelies,it's about time that they are called out for what they stand for. It's them that does not want a Palestinian state, not the other way around. They have lied for years and people believed them about their fear of being wiped out. Well now they are wiping out the Palestinian people. My question is (if anyone want to answer) is when will they see they are alone in this....the WORLD has been condemning them for years it's the US that needs to get some balls and stand up to their HYPOCRISY and call them out. How can they think that they can live in PEACE when they are the one's who don't want to share the land. Everyone knows that the purpose of the State of Israel is to take over Jeruslem and the Arabs and Muslim and Christians no longer welcome once that happens. Please correct me if I'm wrong but in my opinion they are not the KEEPERS OF ANYTHING. Gaza is theirs (the Palestinians)...the US pushed for the election and the people voted for Hamas and the US along with the Israel government did not like the out come. So what we have here is a situation that someone has to deal with. Enough already.

Lady you really have NO idea what you're saying and quite frankly you're so out of touch, it's not even worth talking about. However, just for arguments sake a lot of the christians are the jewish peoples biggest supporters. On the contrary it's the muslims who want to take over Jerusalem and would tear down the walls also destroying all of the holy and historic monuments that are left and push out all non muslim people INCLUDING the christians! Why don't you actually go visit Israel then maybe you can speak your mind after you REALLY see what's going on.

You need a history lesson...I'm out of touch you don't even know that Muslims are not the ones. Answer this why is there a Jewish state? The prophecy is that the Messiah is suppose to come before the state? That's why they can't find peace with anyone, if it were up to them they would expel everybody who is not Jew from there....believe that. So go and find out just how this state was brought into existence. Then we can talk about who is out of touch.

Turkish media reports that the American Citizen with dual Turkish Citizenship was shot four times in the head and once in the chest at close range.

If that is true, it appears to be murder [or at least manslaughter].
