It's deja vu! Former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers and Vogue's Anna Wintour caught up at yesterday's Oscar de la Renta resort show. Rogers told WWD that she's "not really" eying a job in fashion. She explained, "The business side [of fashion] is what I like. But I'm more interested in overall style. It's a reflection of personality, and it begins with how one dresses oneself. No matter what people say, that requires some kind of conscious effort."
Rogers had attracted negative attention for attending Fashion Week with Anna Wintour in February 2009, during her tenure at the White House. Critics said it too showy and center-stage.
