Suze Orman Has Emergency Appendectomy

CNBC host Suze Orman underwent an emergency appendectomy over the weekend, TVNewser reports.

Orman had the surgery to remove her appendix Sunday, during a trip to Chicago.

"Suze went to Chicago to celebrate her birthday and didn't expect to leave her appendix behind," a CNBC spokesperson told TVNewser. "Northwestern Hospital took great care of her. It was a great team of doctors and a successful surgery. She will be recuperating in Florida."

Maybe you don't personally need her, but the way some Americans spend, it's a VERY good thing she's on television lol. She makes personal financial fashionable, and sadly that's one of the few things that might get through to some people who are spending like the world is ending tomorrow.

Just read through some of the comments...what is up with the haters? Seriously!?!
Can't tell if it is homophobia, or a defensive reaction by those who are being financially irresponsible (and thus resent her because she advocates fiscal prudence), or what, but enough already.
Suze Orman pulled herself up from waitressing to become a personal finance inspiration, and she has millions of fans who have benefitted from her advice. If you don't like her style, so be it, but that's no reason to be so nasty...

Well I was gonna make the comment that when you are as full of it as Suze Orman eventually somethings gonna explode. She shoulda seen it coming, but after reading your comment I realized that although funny it woulda been uncaring to say the least. So, Ill simply say get well and hope this somehow magically gets you past the Dr. Laura syndrome you seem to carry with ya all the time.

Isn't it "hip" to teach adults how to add and subtract their own money in a demeaning tone and get paid for it too??
