Lindsay Lohan: I Will Prove I Didn't Drink

Lindsay Lohan's SCRAM bracelet went off Sunday night at a party after the MTV Movie Awards, indicating a "small amount" of alcohol in her system, but Lindsay maintains she had nothing to drink.

"My scram wasn't set off- It's physically impossible considering I've nothing for it to go off," she tweeted Tuesday. "This is all because of a FALSE accusation by tabloids& paparazzi& it is fucking digusting- I've been more than I'm compliance &feeling great."

A SCRAM representative advised Judge Marshal Revel on Tuesday that Lindsay's bracelet did in fact go off Sunday. Revel issued a warrant for Lindsay's arrest, setting bail at $200,000. The bail was quickly posted, deactivating the bench warrant.

While all this was going on, Lindsay chilled poolside in Hollywood, showing off her cleavage and SCRAM in a low-cut black one-piece bathing suit. See pictures here.

Lindsay stands to serve jail time if the judge finds she was in violation of the terms of her probation. The probation violation hearing is July 6 and Lindsay is planning to make her case.

"I'm well, working to get proof that I did not tamper with the bracelet or drink," she told Radaronline.com.

Funny, the scram bracelets can't detect whether someone has been drinking or not, unless they have it tied directly into an artery.

All the scram does is monitor perspiration. Which, last time I checked, does not tell whether anyone has been drinking or not.

Scram bracelets are not only a complete waste of money based on voodoo science like those of the global warming and hol0caust deniers... but it's a complete farce.

Do you know how much alcohol is in hair spray and perfumes?? A LOT!! Someone can splash on a little perfume and use a little bit of hairspray and BAM, they are setting of scram bracelets within a 50 mile radius.

She has a history of trying to outsmart these things. She has used a paper clip, perfume, alcohol based chemicals. Now this. Gee the bracelet goes off and she cries its not my fault. Honey, as a parent I have heard every excuse in the book and she is not a good liar. They are super sensitive and designed to detect blood alcohol in the body, body secretions, and for her to say she didn't do it? The girl is in denial. She knows she screwed up and is trying to cover her tracks. Abusers and liars do this to avoid facing thier addictions. Its time for serious medical intervention that wont let her out until she is totally and permanently sober. It might take her a year or more, but its time.

oh yea i totally believe her! someone must have purposefully poured a large amount of alcohol directly on her ankle and the alcohol must have seeped through the fabric of her dynasty jumpsuit and then trickled onto the SCRAM bracelet, but since this was really potent alcohol it was able to trick the bracelet into believing that it was seeping from lohan's pores rather than coming from an external source. it's so simple!

I'll bet one of her friends dared her to take a drink, "just a small drink" to see if the scram would pick up on it. You know, just testing the waters, so to speak. Guess it works after all! If she wanted to "prove" that she hadn't been drinking then she should have insisted on a saliva test. She should have gone straight to a police station and requested a saliva test. Then she would have her proof. But, of course, she really did take a drink so she didn't do that.
A 'victim' (and I don't mean a real victim, I mean the guilty ones who always say they are a victim) is never wrong, always innocent and it's always someone else's fault, they made him/her do it or she/he was framed.

uh huh...sure...everything is everyone else's fault and lindsay's just a victim. she has no idea what she's talking about - paps and tabs cannot make your SCRAM bracelet go off and there's no way for her to "prove" that she wasn't drinking even if she wasn't.

These devices can easily decipher whether it was directly spilled on them, or was consumed and came through the skin. I am confused, if she is so adamant on proving that she didn't drink, there is urine tests she could do that can detect ETG up to 80 hours, she should have took the test immediately, if she was so innocent. Either way, the gal needs to get out denial and on the road to recovery. I know if this happened to the average jane... jail time would have already been in process! Great legal system we have.... if your rich, you can buy your way out of anything, if your poor... the state will do it for you!
