Speaking to the press today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi emphasized BP's mistakes and responsibilities leading to and in handling the Gulf oil spill, saying, "They have failed and misrepresented on every score." She also had words of reassurance for citizens affected by the oil spill, saying, "Every tax payer in America must know that BP will be held accountable to pay what it owes."

San Francisco is a high-rent city. Just ask Nancy Pelosi.

The House Speaker's district office in the new federal building in San Francisco costs a whopping $18,736 a month -- the highest rental paid by any member of the House -- or, more precisely, the highest rental paid by taxpayers on behalf of a member of the House. The rental price was reported by Roll Call on Monday.

Everyone knows she is not a judge.
She is THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE, she is the democratic Party Leader, and I for one do not like to see these negative comments about OUR PARTIES LEADER.
Many WANT to hear what she has to say.
Those who don't tune back into the repub machine of fox, rush and friends.

Those of you which HATE the way things are going, now get an idea how we felt during the bush/cheney era.
