Britain's royal brothers seemed pensive but jovial while handling an 8.5-foot African rock python at a Botswana nature reserve Tuesday.
The snake, however, was considerably less at ease. As the brothers rested the snake on their shoulders -- Prince Harry near the head, Prince William holding the tail -- it urinated on the floor of the reserve's education center.
John Aves, education director at the reserve, says the snake "was nervous and scared. It was an automatic reflex to urinate."
The princes are in the midst of a six-day joint tour of southern Africa, which includes stops at charity projects in Botswana and Lesotho before wrapping up in South Africa, which is hosting the World Cup.
