Jeb Bush: People Blame My Brother For Their Sniffles (VIDEO)

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush was in Chicago Thursday showing his support for Illinois GOP gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady--and also poking fun at people who blame his brother for the economic meltdown.

Brady, who is leading Governor Pat Quinn in the polls, said he had no concerns "whatsoever" about "paling around" with President George W. Bush's brother, adding that he was proud to have Bush's support and guidance.

When a reporter mentioned to Jeb Bush that many people blame his brother for the economic meltdown, he replied:

"When people wake up who are partisans and have a sniffle they blame my brother. It's just the way it is."

Okay folks. Put on your thinking caps and remember the constant droan that came out of the mouths of all Republicans whenever W was criticized for anything..those 3 words that were at the heart and soul of any retort: BUT BILL CLINTON!!! If any of you recall honestly Bill Clinton, in their eyes was responsible for anything wrong in the history of the world! Bush didn't have a surplus!! BILL CLINTON LIED.. Bush wasn't responsible for anything negative.. BILL CLINTON DID IT! One would have been led to believe that Bill Clinton was responsible for everything up to and including the crucifixion if the Republicans thought so. So Jebby.. You get what you give. But in this case: Obama is telling the truth and it is there for all to see. Your brother blew the surplus, raided the treasury, destroyed the economy, borrowed us into debt to fund his two wars and we now can say he had a part in destroying the Gulf of Mexico by allowing regulations to be ignored or recinded. Bill Clinton didn't do that. George W. Bush did. Barack Obama didn't do that. He just has to clean it up. All of it. Too bad the Bush Family and the Republicans in general can't take a little personal responsiblity and admit theat W inflicted a lot of damage on this country.

Matt Bai in today's New York Times appears to be a public relations maven for the Jeb Bush brand, "Life Defending the Family Name." In the Huffington Post article Jeb accuses most of us of being guilty of blaming his brother for the sniffles. Jeb, is wasting time and money if he continues with his effort to run for President in 2012, he will not be the nominee. As a Republican I want to set the record straight, I do not blame his brother for the sniffles but do for;

the worst economy perhaps of the century,
17-24 percent of the nation's work force unemployed,
TARP and too big to fail Wall street giant firm bailouts, via Henry Paulson.
Payoffs of huge American and International banks,
Two wars,
Environmental laxities of gargantuan proportions,
Attempted simplistic solutions to complex problems,
Massive federal debt
Arrogance,

The Bush brand has failed on its own. Even Jeb's Florida Governorship is not a cause celeb. This is neither the time or the opportunity to entertain a candidacy from someone who just wants a position for fame's sake, he's not qualified ask Floridians.

He's being a Republican, who is on script. Do he and George Jr, even like one another. Story goes Jeb was suppose to be the Presidential candidate and then he went and married a Mexican woman and Mommy dearest, Barbara Bush, told George Jr., to get "clean" cause he was running.

GW Bush should be so lucky JUST to be blamed for our sniffles. The man and his minions plundered this country. Obama, a far from perfect president (I could say tons about this) is now in the thankless position of having to clean up the projectile spilled detritus left by this smug, smirking, chuckling, arrogant, fraternity brat of a half-human being.

Despite the fact that the Supreme Court gave him the presidency in '00 and the the Bush criminal family stole it the second time in '04, he still got PLENTY of votes from Americans. We are more than partly responsible for the mess we're in. And we could do it all over again in '12 by turning this country over to more Rethuglicans.
