Miley Cyrus Gets 'Love' Tattoo On Ear (PHOTO)

Miley Cyrus Love Tattoo

popeater.com:

Miley Cyrus has proven she 'Can't Be Tamed,' and when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday, she appeared to be sporting a new tattoo. The word "LOVE" is inscribed on her right ear, although she has not confirmed if it's real or not. Perhaps it is a permanent dedication to her 20-year-old Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth? If the tattoo is real, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus would have had to sign-off on it because Miley is only 17 -- in the U.S., it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to get a tattoo without parental permission. The singer already has "Just Breathe" inked on her ribcage.

She's the major breadwinner of the family. She should be able to get a tattoo, I guess.

The tattoo really should be facing the other direction. Looks like it was done in someone's home.

Could they tattoo a brain on her scalp. It would be technically an "outtie" but at least there would be one there.

Here's the thing about tattoos: They are a fad.

Fads have persisted in pop culture for centuries, and they are perfectly fine. But unfortunately tattoos are a fad that actually result in a permanent deformation of your body. Just think if everyone who had a mullet in 1988 had to keep it for the rest of their lives... unless you felt like paying thousands of dollars to have it removed.

Mark my words, Huffington Post. In 10-20 years, young people stop getting tattoos. A tattoo will be the mark of old people.

I got mine 20 years ago on spring break. It doesn't show unless I want it to. Still like it after 20 years. I've always wanted another one but haven't found the right one yet. Fads die out after a year or 2. Tattoos have been around for centuries.

But they weren't even remotely as prevalent 20 years ago as they are today. They were limited to sailors, bikers, or (if I may be so bold) tree huggin' dirt worshipers. I still see mullets nowadays, but people laugh and point at them. (Maybe I should have picked a different analogy than a mullet, given my profile pic!)

Today, people seem to get them without really thinking about it or just because their friends have one. It's the thing to do in some circles. They create tattoos that want to reflect their personality in some way (as though we need a tattoo to decipher someone's personality), but what happens if a personality changes? People get old, and people change, but tattoos are permanent.

I also happen to think they're ugly and I don't like seeing them on people. (I guess there's my ulterior motivation for going off on pointless anti-tattoo rants. But whatever makes people happy, I guess...) My prediction: Tattoo removal clinics will boom 10 years from now. Maybe they'll even help get the economy back on its feet!

Age of consent varies by state and/or country. Depending on where she is at the time.

Don't do the tatoo thing. Your transitiong into a young adult. You remind me of a teenage Patty Duke who jumped into adult films at 18 doing Valley of the Dolls.

As long as she continues with life according to the Britney playbook she'll be nothing more than a has been in a year or so. Maybe if she ought to recognize how well she could have it without any tattoos and just enjoy being rich at her age but then there's those hillbilly genetics to deal with, oh well.
10:19 AM on 06/19/2010
Wow, hillbilly genetics. Just curious, but it she were black would you be commenting on her ghetto genetics?

I think imsosure was eluding to her country music roots.

I get a sneaking suspicion that Miley is going to be one of those 'cute young girls' who doesn't retain their cuteness as she continue to age. And there's few things worse than a homely tattooed woman.

yes, but you also called her a hefer, which she clearly is not, so your judgement may be suspect.

I can see the time-lapse photography of her going from what she is to a typically obese rural plumper. She should strike while the iron is hot because all signs to her cooling off in a hurry - and when it happens I doubt it'll be pretty.
