Robert Montgomery Exhibited Bizarre Behavior Before Boulder Stove & Flooring Shooting

The night before Robert Montgomery shot his employers to death inside their Boulder store, he told his parents in a phone message that he was planning to have a "meeting with his bosses in the morning," according to a summary report of the homicide investigation made public today.

In two journal entries a few days earlier, Montgomery had mentioned Sean and Staci Griffin -- the owners of Boulder Stove & Flooring, 2887 30th St. -- using capitalization and expletives and accusing them of "cheating us again???," detectives noted in the summary report.
