The Writer Who Couldn't Read (VIDEO)

Neuroscientist Oliver Sacks always brings the most fascinating neurological problems to our attention. An NPR story, animated below, relates how crime novelist Howard Engel lost his ability to read, though, surprisingly, he could still write. We're amazed by the strangeness of Engel's situation and by his story of a very slow recovery that involved learning to read with his tongue!
