Budget Travel released their top 10 picks for best American attractions to see as a child. While we agree with some (the Lincoln Memorial), we don't understand why others are picked (still haven't seen Colonial Williamsburg).
And then we thought: what made an impact on us as a kid? Certainly, and more obviously, the Liberty Bell (even the small colonial streets of Philadelphia transported us back into a different era). Less obvious is the Coca Cola Museum in Atlanta--just because it showed us the huge reach American products can have all over the world, and how companies cater their tastes to different cultures.
