Many public opinion polls have previously found that most of the public support measures to reduce man-made global warming, unless people really have to pay for the measures through higher taxes, higher utility bills, and higher prices for all products and services that have an energy expense component in them.

AB32 will sharply raise prices for products and services, because the basic cost of electricity from utility companies will be ramped up as low cost coal or natural gas energy is replaced by much higher priced wind and solar energy.

Once the public realizes that AB32 will drive down the standard of living in California for everyone, it is certainly possible that voters will widely support the attempt to repeal the legislation.

Hopefully common sense will prevail and the climate change law will be repealed.
