Michelle Obama & G-20's Other First Ladies: Who Was Best-Dressed? (PHOTOS, POLL)

The last time we saw First Lady Michelle Obama at a G-20 Summit was when she and the president hosted one in Pittsburgh last September.

Now the G-20 leaders and some of their spouses (Carla Bruni stayed home this time) convened in Toronto this weekend, where they were hosted by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife Laureen. On Saturday night the Harpers welcomed the leaders for a working dinner; the spouses dined separately.

According to the pool report, "the First Lady's office is pleased to let you know that Mrs. Obama is wearing tonight an '[Azzedine] Alaia dress, and vintage costume jewelry from a company in Toronto called n&n vintage.' and 'The jewelry is costume, not real,' says FLOTUS' office." A little too much going on. The shoes are not for that dress I think one has to be a certain age to wear those shoes, and she is beyond it. The dress was too busy mind you we never get to see much of Mrs. Harper and as a Canadian know very little about her or have read little about her.

The winner our own Michelle Obama: pretty and chic in summer white. Second prize the first lady of South Korea: cool and gracious in traditional dress but the first lady of Republic of Malawi also looks regal and proud in traditional outfit.

I loved the dress that Michelle wore - very pretty. Mrs. Harper was a bit dowdy. I know she isn't as old as the dress made her look. Also - the shoes have got to go. Michelle's shoes were very stylish. Sorry Mrs. Harper but you lose on this one.
