Jon Gosselin Tattoo
Jon Gosselin got tattoo of a dragon inked over his entire back.

Jon Gosselin has gotten an enormous dragon tattooed on his back to symbolize his rebirth. As he is still jobless, he has sold the photos and an exclusive interview to Radaronline.com. Click through to see the photos, but know it goes towards Jon's latest paycheck.

"I have planned this tattoo for years now," he told Radar. "I wanted something that resembled a rebirth or a change in me."

Jon's tattoo took a total of 14 hours and was completed a week ago in a Pennsylvania tattoo parlor. He said he chose a Korean dragon because it symbolizes rebirth.

"The dragon is all encompassing. It has all parts of the zodiac," he said.

Jon's dragon coils from his lower back to his shoulders and in its claws clutches a scroll with what looks like his children's birthdates with their names in Korean beneath the numbers. Their reaction: "they love it and think it's cool!"

Jon's rebirth includes working with a life coach and hiring a new manager, Canaan Rubin.

"This tattoo for Jon marks this turning point in his life, and symbolizes his time of change, and improvement," Rubin told Radar. "He has been actively exploring ways to better his life, become a better father, boyfriend, ex-husband, friend, business partner, everything."

Jon also has a tattoo of the Korean flag on one shoulder and an hour glass pouring sand on the other. He said on the show he regretted both. Kate has Winnie-the-Pooh inked on her ankle.

I would love to know if the artist "hid" a little something in the design.

Can anyone tell me the appeal of defacing one's body with a tatoo? I know it has become some kind of fad, everyone thinks they have to get one to be "cool", but who cares if this chubby non-entity scars up his back. What is interesting about this fool?

I personally believe the human body is more beautiful when unaltered with ink. People who get tatoos have psychological and emotional issues ... because anyone who so carelessly defaces their own body has no respect for themself. Period.

In anceint Rome you would lose your citizenship if you got a tatoo.

My first was because I love art and wanted to carry some around with me. My second was my beliefs. Now I carry them inside and out. Some people carry a bible. I got a tattoo. BFD. Some of us body art wear'in people have more respect for ourselves and others than those who disparage them in comments.

I have no interest in defending Jon, but in Hawaii, for some of us, getting a tattoo is a sacred thing.

If Kate Gosselin can attempt to make America and her family love her again on DWTS, then Jon Gosselin should be given his chance at redemption. Frankly, both are awful creatures and disgraces to humanity, but if Kate can make an attempt, so can Jon.

#1 Who cares about his tattoo? He and mostly his b of a wife pimped out their kids for money.

These kids were shown on TV fully nude in the show, sitting on the toilet (with no parent around), throwing tantrums and being herded all over the the country so mommy dearest could have the rich lifestyle she always wanted. Now post divorce the kids are STILL being exploited on TV..and we're worried about a tattoo? PLEASE! The kids have worked and provided enough money to last themselves until adulthood....too bad mommy dearest spends it all on million dollar homes, fancy clothing and implants.

America's fascination with two doodlebrains who blew up their family for money and look like they should be working as greeters at Walmart's completely escapes me. Give it a rest.
