Larry King Replacements: Who Should Get His 9PM Spot On CNN?

First Posted: 6/29/10   Updated: 5/25/11

Now that Larry King has announced he is officially ending "Larry King Live" in the fall, talk will immediately turn to who should replace him. King says buddy Ryan Seacrest would be his first choice, Piers Morgan has reportedly been negotiating with the network for the spot (or it may be a done deal), and Katie Couric has been reported both to have expressed no interest in the job and to be keeping her options open when her CBS News contract expires.

Who do you think should get the 9PM slot, following Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker on CNN? Here are some frontrunners whose names have been tossed about.

A friend of Larry's, Seacrest has guest-hosted "Larry King Live" many times and he's always been the first name thrown around when discussing potential replacements.
