Hurricane Danielle 2010 is the official name for the fourth Atlantic hurricane this season (see the complete list here).

Hurricane Danielle formed out of Tropical Storm Danielle earlier this week, though its latest path models suggest it will not make landfall in the continental United States.

The last Hurricane Danielle was formed in 1998, originating off the coast of Africa, which also never made landfall in the continental United States.

The first Atlantic hurricane of the 2010 season was Hurricane Alex. The second and third names reserved for the season: Hurricane Bonnie and Hurricane Colin.
