Dev Patel & Freida Pinto Still Going Strong (PHOTOS)

At least two people who starred in 'Slumdog Millionaire' are doing well, on-and-off screen lovers Dev Patel and Freida Pinto.

The pair, who met on the film, looked every bit the happy couple on the New York red carpet for Patel's new film 'The Last Airbender' Wednesday night.

Patel is the only lead actor of Asian descent in the film, which has been attacked for 'white washing' by critics.

It opens Friday.

ThankU 2 All who felt I thought they were poor when N fact I wrote three separate thoughts. I was overjoyed they were in a loving relationship and hoped it would last without Hollywood spoiling it.
As an after thought, since it was not the main point of the article, I also wished there were opportunities 4 the poor 2 get out of the slums. I still wish that because I know about the police bulldozing their slum 'tenements' (hardly could they B called homes) and driving them away only 2 come back later and 'remake' their shelters. I also recall threats against many of the children and so many wanting money from them when in fact they don't have vast amounts of money bcuz it is kept in 'trust fund'.

Many who wrote me were possibly meaning 2 post directly above me: Alexander Lesher. I am aware they were actors and not the actual characters they portrayed.

I just got home from seeing the airbender. I didn't see slumdog.... I hope he is as good in bed as he is in looks..... so he has someone to take care of him! i dunno about his acting....
