Christina McLarty: Joe Francis' Reporter Fiancee (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Los Angeles local news personality Christina McLarty has gotten engaged to "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis.

Who is the reporter who's going to marry one of the most notorious men in Hollywood?

McLarty, the niece of Bill Clinton's former White House chief of staff Mack McLarty, is an entertainment reporter at LA's CBS2/KCAL9. Before going to LA, McLarty worked as a TV reporter and correspondent in Dallas and in Little Rock, Arkansas, where her family is originally from.

According to her CBS2 biography, the NYU grad has interviewed Bill Clinton, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Diane Sawyer, Clint Eastwood, Warren Beatty and Annette Benning, and in her free time she "enjoys cooking, reading, checking out the local farmers markets, and tending to her 4-year-old Basset Hound."

In a funny way, somebody like Joe Francis is LESS likely to cheat because one of those scummy girls would try to make money off it. Still...I think Ms. McLarty is taking a leap into the unknown.

Or maybe he's really not a bad person...seems to me a lot of people have made him out to be a completely perverted, exploitative jerk. He's just a businessman profitting from girls who basically exploit themselves. Even after all of the negative publicity, girls still flock to the bus in hopes of flashing the cameraman to be on a video...why judge him for that? they could be a perfectly normal, happy couple.

People are so quick to knock this guy.

People "respect" Hugh, , , but not me.

A couple of differences:
Hugh treats women with a lot more respect than just "show us your boobs for beads", or "Kiss your friend for the camera". Playboy playmates have the option of discontinuing there shoot at any time, and pulling there photos before the shoot, they also have the option of not going completely nude and doing a shoot like FHM or Maxim (this option is generally for celebrates bit its still there).
Playboy also is very carefully researches its models to make sure they are of legal age.

Where as "Girls gone wild" basically goes to vactation hot spots and finds inebriated females who are not in full control of there faculties at the time, and takes advantage of the situation. A good number of them are underage and could not legally give consent anyway, but that's not "Girls gone wilds problem" (It wasn't unleast until the courts got involved, thank goodness).
On top of which when a girl finally sobers up and realizes what she has done, its too late with GGW they will not (unless the girl is not legal age) remove you from the video. Once you sign that consent form its all over.

Sometimes its not what you do, its how you do it. Its the diffence between a respected investor and Bernie Madoff.

Yeah, I guess you have some good points there . .
but the whole "Playboy has class thing" is way over pretentious.
Because one girl is naked in one publication, and another is naked
in different one, .... the one in Playboy "has class" and should be admired?
I just don't buy that. Just another form of elitism.
