Letterman Goes To Town On Larry King (VIDEO)

First Posted: 07/02/10 11:07 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:55 PM ET

Letterman counted down the "Top Ten Reasons Larry King Is Retiring" the other night, and had a field day mocking the legendary CNN host. The reasons ranged from the obvious ("He's 126 Years Old") to the more obscure -- "Wanting To Focus On Second Career As A Barn Owl" (see picture above). All in all, Letterman was on his game for this one.

How is King "legendary"? He hasn't been relevant for nearly a decade and the only time you hear about him is in regards to his dysfunctional marriages.

JMO.

Neither are worth their salt these days..

Bye Larry. And Dave why are you still on T.V.?

You probably have to have redundant levee systems with canals in between them, like the Dutch have, to make sure that incoming water is channeled off to areas where you deal with it rather than have it drown you.

Larry is 126 so how old are you 106 ?
Hmm..no comment how Dave would look on HD, but he is no Redford.

This is very low and not funny...
I am not a fan of LK, one thing like him or not Larry King treats all his guests with respect.
Letterman could have given him one but blew the chance.

Hey. Did ya see the gap in Letterman's teeth?

Ha ha ha ha ha

Now THAT's entertainment....

no, king and letterman are friends. it was just ribbing. the irrational behavior from Letterman's enemies is getting creepier.

Dave I hate to break it to you but it might be your turn now also. I mean you used to be funny but you are starting to lose it.

On a bad day, Dave is still the best out there.
04:47 AM on 07/03/2010
I guess so... on a very bad day.

i think that speaks more to the weakness of the competition. i've always liked letterman, but his best days were decades ago.
