long history of frauf by the enlgish race in english courts to loot otehrs.
now bP is recruting kuwaitis-wonder why the britihs alswys seek foreiners to be holder of their useless companies-.because they knwo that their enlgish companies are rubbish and foreiners(especailly of nondemorcratic count=tries) are stooges of rbiths and are the mugs which british utilise to keep its abnkrupt econmy running-now called service and fianncial industry 1

Someone's theory is that about thirty years ago the insiders at Lloyd's of London were facing bankruptcy because of asbestosis claims and devised "recruit to dilute", a plan to push the claims onto 34,000 women and foreigners who were encouraged to become "Names".

Their fraudulent misrepresentations were studiously ignored in the English courts. 51 Tory MPs were amongst the Names who were protected--had they been bankrupted, the government would have fallen.

I believe that when people in business and law (partners in crime) saw what Lloyd's insiders got away with, the light switched to a permanent green for misconduct. Summing up this human behavior in four words: monkey see, monkey do."

So I saw this other wire service article on Yahoo saying that BP is downplaying an "early end" to the spill. How is 70+ days "early"!?!?!?!?

OT:
La Nina developing, could mean more hurricanes
Source: Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The climate phenomenon known as La Nina appears to be developing, threatening more bad news in the efforts to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

When a La Nina occurs there tend to be more hurricanes than normal in the Atlantic and Caribbean regions, which include the Gulf of Mexico.

The federal Climate Prediction Center said Thursday that La Nina conditions are likely to develop in July and August.

La Nina is marked by an unusual cooling of the sea surface in the tropical Pacific Ocean. Water temperatures in that area can affect air pressure and winds, resulting in changes in the weather in many parts of the world.

In a La Nina, wind shear is increased over the Pacific and reduced over the Atlantic. Wind shear is the difference in strength of winds at low levels compared to higher level winds.

A strong wind shear reduces hurricanes by breaking up their ability to rise into the air, while less shear means they can climb and strengthen.

What about the chemicals polluting right now:
(If you have seen this on another thread sorry)

Institute for Southern Studies:

AIR TESTS FROM THE LOUISIANA COAST REVEAL HUMAN HEALTH THREATS FROM THE OIL DISASTER

http://www.southernstudies.org/2010/05/air-tests-from-the-louisiana-coast-reveal-human-health-threats-from-the-oil-disaster.html

"The concentration threshold for people to experience physical symptoms from HYDROGEN SULFIDE is about 5 to 10 parts per billion. But as recently as last Thursday, the EPA measured levels at 1,000 ppb. The highest levels of airborne HYDROGEN SULFIDE measured so far were on May 3, at 1,192 ppb."

HYDROGEN SULFIDE (H2S) is classed as a chemical asphyxiant that can cause headache, dizziness, nausea, convulsions and DEATH at levels over 200 ppb.

http://www.safetydirectory.com/hazardous_substances/hydrogen_sulfide/fact_sheet.htm

"Testing data also shows levels of volatile organic chemicals (like BENZENE, a carcinogen) that far exceed Louisiana's own ambient air standards."

Cleanup workers have already begun to feel the effects of these poisonous gases:

The BP Gulf Coast Gen 0 cide is not ending anytime soon.

BP fabricates hopes for PR gains time and time again.
When the dust clears, the worst case is typically revealed.

This disaster should have been a decisive moment for America to wake up and begin a massive enterprise to develop alternative energy. Instead we find the story sinking to the back pages.
We love finger-pointing so much that we are missing an opportunity to see and conquer the real enemy- our addiction to oil.
Wake up America!

Gulf oil may have a surprising, life threatening, impact. Oil can be superseded!

See What to Do at http://www.aesopinstitute.org The subtitle is now: 350 or Else - The Unrecognized Threat from the Gulf Geyser

400 parts per million of carbon has recently been found to be the Arctic Tipping Point, which could conceivably endanger all of humanity. We are presently at 390 ppm. The safe limit is 350 ppm. See www.350.org

Ironically, confronting the surprising dimensions of the problem might generate a huge number of jobs.

A very thin film on the surface of the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans threatens to raise temperatures toward the catastrophic Tipping Point.

Consider the possibility that a massive mobilization is needed to combat what might be looming if substantial oil is coming from fissures in the sea floor and the leak cannot be capped.

Little known and hard to believe breakthroughs involving radically new energy technologies appear capable of helping to supersede oil much more rapidly than might be easily understood.

See Moving Beyond Oil on the same Aesop Institute website.

Cars and trucks could begin to cost-competitively leave behind gasoline and oil.

We need far more robust and sensible steps to massively attack the problems in the Gulf and prevent as much oil as possible from reaching the Atlantic ocean.

Sustainability and independence from oil is possible. Making it happen rapidly may require a greater effort that was required to respond to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

where's mr. 'audacity of hope'?

this is another lost opportunity for obama.

in the face of the worst ecological disaster in recorded human history he should be outlining and commiting to a bold 10 year actionable plan to kick addiction to oil.

instead what he's doing is thinking small and ONLY LENDING out $2 billion for solar while another $30 billion goes down the blackhole that is afghanistan.

how about bringing those troops home asap and diverting that $30 billion into green energy jobs?????

but if Big Oil doesn't pay for a politician's election campaign, who will? Big Solar Energy? Don't think so. It would be political suicide to take on Big Oil, but maybe what this country needs is a martyr.

8 presidents later and all americans can do is talk about it.

talk is cheap.

why can't we be more like sweden and end oil addiction in 10 years?????

I believe the relief well will work. Its too bad they did not have it in the first place.
Negotiations presently going on for drilling in the Beaufort Sea(Arctic) . The question of a relief well is a request from government ....? Don't know the outcome

i think it was a matter of cost rather than safety issues that were dominating their decision making.

This is now a boring story. Obama has moved on. He prefers fun stuff like bashing Arizona and working on finding jobs (hee hee).

Exactly! I am laughing at how the media now knows it's time to bury this story. The oil pouring out is the same as it was two, three weeks ago, yet suddenly it's a non-story. The media protects Obama constantly.

no the media protects british or rather enlgihs interests. the american media is hostage to british infiltration for a long time-it obeys what is good for england and not for even white usa let alone whole of usa.
that is the truth wehich american shave bene foolish not to habvve realised.

Thad Allen said, "We've got to have a little bit of oil coming out..." when speaking about BP's well. Does his use of the plural pronoun, "we," mean that Allen is representing BP? Sometimes it isn't too clear whether he's speaking for the U.S. government or BP.

He's working WITH (by necessity) BP to get this job done. Hence, his use of the word "We".

And what is "getting the job done," acting as a PR agent to improve BP's image?
