Keith Olbermann Begs Oprah: Please 'Crush' Racist 'Schmuck' Limbaugh (VIDEO)

Keith Olbermann named Rush Limbaugh his Worst Person in the World Tuesday night for Limbaugh's comments that Oprah and President Obama only succeeded because of their race.

"These quotes speak for themselves and for a diseased and failing mind," Olbermann said introducing Limbaugh's comments.

On his radio show earlier in the day, Limbaugh said:

[Obama] wouldn't have been voted president if he weren't black. Somebody asked me over the weekend why does somebody earn a lot of money have a lot of money, because she's black. It was Oprah. No, it can't be. Yes, it is. There's a lot of guilt out there, show we're not racists, we'll make this person wealthy and big and famous and so forth.... If Obama weren't black he'd be a tour guide in Honolulu or he'd be teaching Saul Alinsky constitutional law or lecturing on it in Chicago.

"It's naked ugly racism, it is the distillation of Rush Limbaugh's ugly view of our country," Olbermann said.

He ended with a plea to the queen of daytime talk: "Oprah, please crush this schmuck!"

I really do try to be a peaceful person. Keith has helped me along in discovering the part of my brain that absolutely revels in seeing evil exposed. Confession: I actually cheer when I watch segments of Keith's "Worst Person" list. Rush tends to be at the top of the list, but there are many others like him. Beware of public figures who are 'wolves in sheep's clothing.'

Passing something that the majority of Americans DO NOT WANT hardly passes as governing, especially considering the underhanded manner in which he got it passed (after promising transparency and openness).

Pelosi swore that people would love ObamaCare, once it got passed and people found out more about it. Has that happened? NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!

The BIGGEST ISSUE, the primary reason for which he got elected, is the economy. He has botched that up big time. His stimulus didn't work and still isn't working. His promise not to raise taxes on the middle class was a big fat LIE.

And, it's all manifesting itself with his plunging polls numbers, along with the Democrats facing, what even Michael Moore called "an @$$-whipping of Biblical proportions".

Actuely run things? You call double-digit unemployment acutely running things? PLEASE!!!

No your a lie Obama hasnt raised taxes on the middle class. And regardless of weather everyone liked the health care bill or not health reform was something the nation needed. It wasn’t any were near what I wanted but it was better then nothing. And when did the right start caring about what a majority of the people want? I thought yall didnt believe in governing by polls. A majority didn’t want to invade Iraq but when bush did it any way he was a decider. A majority didnt want the patriot act. But that didnt matter then.
And yes I call that running things. Crisis management is not a sign of failure. A doctor trying to save the life of a morbidly obese change smoker is not a quack if he cant get him running marathons after a few hospital visits.

The usual cry, when people point out how Olbermann get stomped into the ground by folks like Rush or O'Reilly.

Of course, lost in all of this (the main reason Olbermann looks and sounds like the fool that he is) is simply that Rush's comments were a reaction to what Cynthia Tucker (of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution) said about Michael Steele being an affirmative action case gone wrong, how he would have been canned, if he weren't black.

Rush simply stated that the same could be said about Obama.

The point: It's the same old foolishness with the left. Racism is HORRIBLE....unless they're the one engaging in it (against their political opponents). They can call black Republicans/conservatives "Oreos", "Sellouts", "House N*#&@^", "Affirmative action cases gone wrong", etc.

If Olbermann (or anyone on MSNBC for that matter) could actually get some facts or a clue, O'Reilly (and Fox News, overall) wouldn't continue to beat him (and them) into the ground.

All you need to know about why Rush is famous...his followers proudly call themselves "ditto-heads." I mean seriously? Why not just say "I have no thoughts of my own, so I'll just follow you, oh great Beluga whale"! This guy flunked out of junior college, for goodness' sake, and look who he's bashing! You mean a multi-millionaire, an extremely influential political figure (even though he holds no official office) and the best in the business at what he does?

I certainly don't want my kids to forgo a college education. But, without hard work and persistence, a college degree is as worthless as the paper on which it's written. If people learn that from guys like Rush (if nothing else), it will take them a long way, instead of whining, crying, and playing the blame-game (an Olympic sport for too many on the left).

I think Fi is referring to the type of character Rush is. Just because a person is an influential mutli millionaire and best in the business at what they do does NOT mean they are anyone you would want your kids to be like.

Rush is teaching millions to believe, not in facts or truth, but to believe their worse fears and predjudices. He teaches not enlightment, but dark paranoia. People are NOT better off after listening to Rush. They are worse off. Is this what you want your children to become?

There are 104 pages of posts, so forgive me if this has been suggested before, but I tried to think of what KO would have Oprah do to crush Rush. Then I remembered the show Bill Moyers did on hate radio. If Oprah could present this point of view in a fact based rant against hate, I think she could do some damage. Unfortunately, just one hit won't bring do. The dude is on the air every single day, so she'd have to make it one her campaigns like she did with texting while driving. Just make it a daily screed against hate radio featuring the drug addled gas bag.

I have a relative who is a huge Oprah fan, but years ago she told me that for the longest time she never wacthed Oprah because she thought "she's black, what kind of show could she have?". No one's going to watch a TV show because of white guilt, but a lot of people will refuse to give a show a chance if the host is black which is why the vast majority of talk shows hosted by blacks have flopped: Marsha Warfield, Iyanla, Tempest Bledsoe, Wanda Sykes, Gayle King etc
