Paul McCartney In Denver: WIN Tickets To Live Concert

First Posted: 07/09/10 02:12 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 06:00 PM ET

On July 15, Paul McCartney is coming to Denver's Pepsi Center -- and you could win two tickets to the show.

Paul McCartney's "Up and Coming 2010" tour will be performing Beatles hits and Wings/McCartney favorites at the Pepsi Center, promoted by AEG Live Rocky Mountains.

Garnering rave reviews, the new McCartney show features a typically diverse set list, drawing on two hours-plus worth of selections spanning the catalogues of The Beatles, Wings and Paul's solo career, including tracks from The Fireman's 2008 album 'Electric Arguments' and potentially some songs never-before-played-on-U.S.-soil.

The Greatest Beatles Fan You Never Met...Yet!

Lee la Kuruganti:
The Greatest Beatles fan you never met has never seen the Beatles. In 1962, at age 3, he danced naked to his first Beatles song (much to the dismay of his Italian New York Bronx mother). Ever since, he has devoted his life to learning about the Beatles and their world-changing music. Now he is a Beatles scholar. His favorites are Paul and John.Learn more about this fan and read the embarrasing comments from his 1977 high school year book! He has never seen one of his heroes perform live.

Dear Lee & dad Anthony,
I just figured out that your slide is a video. I think you are the most deserving of us all, and if I win, the tickets are yours. (I'm the Love Letter to Paul old gal)

Hey everyone, please vote for me and my fiancee! We are both huge Beatles/McCartney fans, and since weddings are ridiculously expensive, there's no way we could afford to purchase tickets. I know all the contestants have cool stories, but no one belongs at a McCartney show more than a newly engaged young couple! :) Thanks in advance, good luck to the others.

I saw the Beatles in concert in 1967 or 1968. Why would I want to see a wrinkled-up old man with dyed hair pretending he's still relevant in the music world? Why don't these guys know when it's time to hang it up, retire gracefully, and write a book or something?

You're just some random schmuck talking about something you know nothing about. I mean, is your life seriously so unexciting that you have to sit around and comment on articles that really don't interest you. Go pee on some other parade, toolbox.

Well okay then, I'll mind my own business if Sir Paul will refrain from making poorly informed and pointless political remarks where he has no business anyway.

You're lying. Their last live performance was August '66. Go piss up a rope.l

Not lying, just can't remember a lot of details from that decade. Had fun though.

I should win tickets to see Paul McCartney because I have been a dedicated fan of Macca's since I was 13. (I'm 22 now) My favorite McCartney era is Wings with my favorite lineup being the one that toured America in 1976. I am also a huge fan of Jimmy McCulloch, who was Wings guitarist during the American tour. If anybody has any questions about ... See MoreJimmy or Wings, they come to know because that's my area of expertise. During the current tour, McCartney has dusted off a few of my favorite Wings tracks, Letting Go and Venus and Mars/Rockshow/Jet. Since I couldn't see Wings performing these songs in 1976, it would be a dream come true to see McCartney perform them now.
