The Most Insane Church Pastor Ever (VIDEO)

Huffington Post   First Posted: 07/09/10 01:25 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 06:00 PM ET

Oh my god. So much insanity coming from this video. First, let me acknowledge that I've already put in a call to get this guy to perform at my next birthday party/church sermon. He's booked (and unfortunately passed away 7 years ago).

But there's no denying that this guy was in demand, considering he's sending a huge number of church goers into MASS SEIZURES. And not the scary the kind. The "oh my god I'm having the time of my life despite the fact that the creepiest pastor has put a spell on me" kind.

Anyway, the holy spirit has been caught on video. And he's just looking for a good time. (via HYST)

waving a palm over the third eye point (the point between the eyebrows) can cause qi disruption...could this be why these people were off-balanced? Or did they just go along with the pastor to not make him look like a fool?

check out this cool chart on the five elements and their meanings...at the bottom of the chart make note that excessive joy is many times caused by a disease of the heart. I couldn't help but to notice the group of men that were trying to hold the pastor up...they had a concerned look on their faces; possibly snycope with a weak heart?

Looks like great fun. Good for them.

However, my issue is with what happens after the "pee your pants" giggle fit is over. When one of the the Second City Players, from this video, claims God spoke to them while they were druling at the mouth, and told them to burn all of the childrens science books at the local elementary school.

This sort of theater is a healthy release of stress from the difficult circumstances we daily find ourselves in, however they won't leave it at that. They also, have to try to fool the rest of us, into thinking that instructions and wisdom are being passed to them, while play acting, that qualify them to make decisions for all of us.

"Never mix entertainment with religion. "

I don't know, I still think "Jesus Christ Superstar" is one of the greatest Rock & Roll albums of all time. (The original cast recording; not the movie soundtrack, which sucks.)

I didn't even see the video. The description alone had me laughing.

WTF? That looked like a Russ Meyers or John Waters film of an evangelical church service...

Actually, after viewing the video it was not so much the pastor who is insane (more like a cyncial manipulator), rather it was the congregation who are insane. Wow, humans really are s.tu.pid.

The most insane pastor ... there's some tough competition for that title.

This just in... "Fire Department reports ether spill at local church. Film at eleven."

I'm of mixed minds on this. At its face it looks like mass insanity and I'm a little fearful of whether that could be channeled into something more dangerous than a giggle-fit.

OTOH, since I think religion is all make-believe anyway... well heck, at least these people are having fun with it. What, I should feel better if they sit there with their heads bowed and serious faces while the preacher tells them they're such horrible vermin that God had to commit suicide because of them?

Conclusion: Goofy, not my cup of tea, but no worse than the crowd at a typical rock concert. If people can enjoy this sort of thing responsibly, good for them!

I'd love to see normal people show up to one of these things, and NOT fall down like an idiot when the crazy pastor touches them.

I'd like to be that guy, but I almost think I wouldn't be able to help but laugh. A) it is 'contagious' and B) did you see how nuts these people are?
