Gop Hypocrisy Countdown

Politics Daily:

So many Republicans have changed their ideas on so many major issues that it's hard to keep up. With the return of Congress this week, two of those issues - campaign finance disclosure and climate change - could play out in the Senate over the next month.

What is wrong with this country that these hacks are actually expected to regain control of the House and potentially pick up 6 or 7 seats in the Senate?

The Dems have certainly made their fair share of mistakes this past year many caused by an attempt to get the 60 votes in the Senate needed to overcome a GOP filibuster. To think that the strategy of obstructing everything, preventing this  Read More...

I wonder if this was part of the Republicans plan to remove Social Security taxes from the so called lock box into the general fund to spend on other things to force the program into insolvency?

They were for family values before they met Argentina.
They were for fiscal conservatism before they found out single-payer is cheaper.
They were for accountability before Bp blew up the Gulf.
They were for Christ until before they found out he's a liberal p.ssy.
They were for the middle class before they gave them the shaft.
They were for bipartisanship before they were against it.
They were for the constitution before they wiped their .ss.s with it.

Wake up people! It's their MO.

Oppose everything (under the excuse of being anti-spending) when your party is not in control (so people will vote you into control) and then pay for everything plus some for your friends when you're in control (so people will re-elect you).

Their strategy is to harm our country for the sake of gaining political control and we are all nothing but their little pawns (unless we recognize what they are doing and vote them out).

They dont flip flop, its strategic with the repubes, they'll say whatever it is you want to hear if it gets them elected or re-elected. Heck they saw the repube party failing so they joined the baggers, now they're stuck to the far wingnuttery right, if they try to be moderate they're unelectable. Sux to be a repube don't ya think?

Your proposition may be good,
but let's have one thing understood -
whatever it is, I'm against it!
And even when you've changed it or condensed it,
I'm against it!

Just looking at the picture in this article reminds me of how corrupt and devilish the repubes were during those horrifying years when they were in control. Never again.

They always look like that... it's actually the "chucklehead" look (very chic in Teabagger circles) to make the GOBP faithful think they are just like them...
05:24 PM on 07/12/2010
I keep saying that McCain has flip-flopped so much that he must be dizzy OR is it dementia? Seriously, why isn't mainstream media all over the GOP for these blatant flip-flops? I recall how Kerry was derided for his one flip-flop.

Q: What is the overarching principle of the Republican Party?

A: Having no principles.

Say whatever you have to say to win. That requires that your positions on issues remain fluid, depending on whether you're playing to your right-wing base or to the middle of the electorate. These position changes have nothing to do with obtaining more information and rethinking what they believe; that would be a valid reason to change. Rather, positions fluctuate based solely on the audience they are appealing to for a primary or general election. In other words, tell people what they want to hear to get their vote. But, whatever you do, do not point out any contradictions. That would not be playing fair.

See below....the fact is....The DNC tries to hide its past....even with Byrd....but its all cool....a new generation now understands the DNC....

You see....before...the youth of America only lived in Clinton and Bush times....and they thought all Dems were like Clinton....now...they are learning....

3. We were for war before we were against it.

People are allowed to change their minds.....when there is new evidence. But that is NOT the case here. These people have just changed their minds (or what they themselves called flip-flopping in the case of John Kerry for much less) just to obstruct Pres. Obama and the Democratic party. They are like little kids who say if I don't get my way then I'm not playing. Such babies. We wouldn't pernit it with our children. Why do we allow it with our senators and members of the house? Vote them all out...these GOP flip-floppers!!
