After meeting on Tuesday, French First Lady Carla Bruni and the first ladies of a dozen African nations attended the annual Bastille Day military parade in Paris on Wednesday. Carla wore another little black (or perhaps little navy blue) dress, while Cameroon's Chantal Biya donned a turquoise skirt set and Burkina Faso's Chantal Comparore opted for a light blue ensemble. Actually she looks unkempt. The shoes she chose were not suitable at all, she looks plain jane with no jewelry, and her makeup makes her look pale and sick. She really needs to pull it together. Princess Letizia on the other hand....she's got class.

I'm not the moderator of the "style threads", and I did not imply that her "fiery red hair" equates to having a alot of confidence. Anyone can go to a store and purchase clothes, but when Chantal wears her own clothes she also exudes a sense of personal "style" which I believe is unique. I think it takes alot of confidence to pull of her outfits. So what if they don't conform to what we perceive as fashionable or trendy. Respect people's different opinions.

Happy Bastille Day my fellow French cousins.

Cameroon first lady Chantal Biya rocks. Her dad is French and she has some serious ensembles. The girl rocks those stiletto's! what are they 11 inches?

I love how most of the talk is of Chantal Biya instead of Carla!! Good choice guys! There's really nothing to say about boring Carla anyway! Chantal is a fascinating woman!

Meanwhile in 1789 her hair style would have been all the rage. I'm glad she isn't conforming to western ideals of beauty and doing her think. I've never seen but I think the first lady of Cameroon looks fantastic.

I really think these two people are sex addicts. Sarkozy looks like he has a huge appetite for it and his lovely wife looks like she enjoys it. Healthy. Wish them both the best.
