I'd thought about opening a cupcake shop. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a market for it where I live. So I'll just live vicariously through Cupcake Wars.

I'm really underwhelmed. Cupcakes aren't thrilling. The icings may be interesting, but the cake's boring and bland, at both Crumbs and Magnolia. I can't remember ever being excited by a cupcake.
I much prefer the scones at Alice's Tea Cup in the West 70s ... more flavorful and moist and with greater variety than you'd usually think from the word "scone." I'm there at least four days a week.

I tend to agree. I have yet to taste a really devastingly good cupcake.

OMG Scones are so good. I love blueberry.

I have yet to try an superior cupcake. It's either too much icing, boring tasting cake, or a all around BLEC tasting cupcake at some supermarket. The closes was at SBC but it's too tiny.
